Paying for College

At 51吃瓜 A. Logan College we pride ourselves on having one of the lowest in-district tuition rates in the state (visit our Tuition and Fees page for more information). In addition, our students are often eligible for financial assistance including financial aid and/or scholarships. We offer tuition payment plans as well as multiple ways to pay your bill. At 51吃瓜 A. Logan College we are here to help you every step of the way.

Cost of Attendance Information

Proof of in-district residency is required for students to receive the in-district tuition rate. Please see our Residency Requirements page or call Admissions and Records at 618-985-2828 Ext. 8298 for more information.

All billing statements may be viewed on the 鈥淏illing/Finances鈥� tab on the portal. Billing statements are mailed out once a semester to the address on file with the Admissions and Records Office. Payment will be due on the day of registration if scheduling takes place after the semester due date. If payment for classes is not in place by the semester due date, students may be dropped from all classes. Students can request to re-enroll once payment arrangements are finalized.

Bill Payment Options

Students Seeking Financial Aid:
Students will need to complete their FAFSA online at studentaid.gov. Once all requirements have been met to receive aid, the billing statement will deduct any awarded student financial aid. All questions concerning the application and financial aid disbursements should be directed to the Financial Aid Office in C210.

Bill Payment:
Students can pay their Bursar bill online through the student portal at MyJALC, over the phone at Ext. 8201, or in-person at the Bursar鈥檚 Office located at C213.

Payment Plan Option:

Students can enroll in the NelNet Payment Plan through the myJALC portal under the 鈥淏illing/Finances tab.鈥� Automatic payment will be deducted from a checking or savings account (ACH) or from a credit or debit card on the 20th of each month. A non-refundable enrollment fee will be charged per agreement upon sign up.

Late Registration Information: Students registering between the dates shown above must pay their tuition/fees in full or make arrangements for partial payments by enrolling in the automatic payment plan on the day they register. Failure to complete one of these payment options on the day of registration will result in your registration being cancelled.

Financial Aid

The primary goal of the 51吃瓜 A. Logan College Office of Financial Aid is to make it possible to
attend college for students who might otherwise be deprived of a college education because of inadequate funds. Consequently, 51吃瓜 A. Logan College promotes grant, scholarship, and
employment opportunities for deserving, qualified students who must find the funds to attend.

Through the generosity of our donors, the Foundation has helped build new facilities, purchase computers for classrooms, replace equipment, buy interactive software for students, and award scholarships, which help students pay for tuition, books and other expenses.

We impact a diverse group of individuals who believe in the value of an education and the opportunities knowledge brings. Our students go on to continue their education at four-year universities or do important work in our community.
