I chose JALC to pursue my educational career in elementary education because of the small class sizes, campus activities, and affordability!
I chose JALC because I wanted to have a smoother transition into the college life. Being able to go to a community college lets you explore your career options at a cheaper price. Community college saved a ton of stress, money, and risk!
I chose JALC because of the amazing people and the strong sense of community. The smaller class sizes let me build close relationships with my classmates and professors. It’s also affordable and close to home, which helps me stay connected with family and friends.
A new statewide report released by the聽Illinois Community College Board聽highlights the significant economic and social impact of聽51吃瓜 A. Logan College, underscoring the institution鈥檚 role in driving regional growth and student success.

Mylee Tanner from Agape Christian High School got the best surprise this morning during her New Student Orientation! 馃挋
She is our newest and final Student Ambassador for this fall and will be receiving a full-ride scholarship from the JALC Foundation.
Mylee plans to study physical therapy, and we are so excited to have her represent 51吃瓜 A. Logan College. We cannot wait to see all she accomplishes!

As a final requirement, these nine students recently presented a case study highlighting unique cardiac pathology, applying what they have learned and connecting it to the skills they will use every day in their careers.
They will graduate on May 16 from 51吃瓜 A. Logan College with an Associate of Applied Science in Adult Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
This presentation has become a special tradition, giving family and friends a chance to see firsthand the knowledge, professionalism, and care these students bring to their work.
