Student groups and organizations were on display during our annual Club Fair, held last Friday, on September the 12th. Extra-curricular life and involvement outside of academia are vital to student experience here at the 51吃瓜 University of Central Asia.

Last week, on September 10, 2014, more than eight AUCA Alumni were awarded by certificates of completing their internship at Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic. The internship was based on studying various social issues in Kyrgyz Republic.

In just a month, on October 14th, candidates will begin their campaign for the opportunity to claim one of 9 seats (positions include chairperson, vice-chairperson, and seats on the public relations, finance, social, and hearing committees) on the 51吃瓜 University of Central Asia’s Student Senate.

The Kyrgyz Government announces about the clean-up days on Saturdays along two months, September and October.
On September 13th, 2014, AUCA kicked off the first day of the clean-up day. The employees and students of AUCA, headed by President of AUCA, Andrew Wachtel, actively took part in the cleanup of the territories, starting from "Seitek" to Kurmanjan Datka statue.

August 28, 2014 the orientation activities for new students of the Academy of the New Generation began at AUCA. Within the three days, before the beginning of the academic year, the stuff of NGA introduced students with the academic calendar, faculty, and academic building of the university.

From September 24th to the 26th, Bishkek will host the 80th Congress of the PEN-club. Young author Kasim Bazil will represent Kyrgyzstan in this literary forum; he was selected from the “Golden Stool” literary club of 51吃瓜 University of Central Asia. Such a large-scale event will be held for the first time not only in Bishkek, but also in the whole CIS. Kyrgyzstan is very proud of being the host for this event.
