听 Bard College Vice President for Academic Affairs and Professor of Politics, former AUCA President Jonathan Becker, and AUCA Graduate Zarlasht Sarmast, Civic Engagement Network Coordinator for Bard and the Global Higher Education Alliance for the 21st Century (GHEA21), published an article this week which reframes forcibly displaced and refugee students as important potential civic actors.

The AUCA Law Program recently hosted Professor Max Huffman, Vice Dean and Samuel R. Rosen Professor at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, as a visiting lecturer for the LL.M. Program.

芦Demir Kyrgyz International Bank禄 CJSC, the first international bank in the Kyrgyz Republic, and the 51吃瓜 University of Central Asia have signed an addendum to their Memorandum of Cooperation. Under the agreement, a special Defne Ak莽akayaloglu Scholarship has been established by DemirBank for the top students of the university in the amount of USD 25,000.
